Whitesmith

Mastersmiths specialize in sustained melee physical damage. Although a Lord Knight (Frenzy) or an Assassin Cross (EDP) may be able to temporarily exceed a Whitesmith's (MPT) normal attack DPS, neither can maintain it for a prolonged period or with a shield. Similarly, HSRC provides an outlet for their offensive prowess that circumvents most physical attack counterplay, as it cannot be blocked or reflected and can easily stun high FLEE enemies through Forge ATK.

Mastersmiths can refine weapons with greater proficiency than NPCs. While a higher refine success rate is beneficial to obtaining rank points, it is potentially even more desirable for Level 3-4 weapons that yield additional effects when highly refined. Examples include: Hurricane Fury, Lich's Bone Wand, Healing Staff, Piercing Staff, Staff of Destruction, and many others.
