Blacksmith [BLACKSMITH 10]

Blacksmiths are focused at enhancing, or crafting, weapons. With Adrenaline Rush, Power Maximize, Power Thrust, and Weapon Perfection, Blacksmiths boast the highest sustained normal attack damage of non-transcendent jobs. This, complimented with their 1-1 skills, enables prolonged journeys into dungeons without the need to resupply.

Alternatively, Blacksmiths may craft weapons which may be used by themselves or other players. While these weapons do not have card slots, they may be enhanced with Star Crumbs for additional damage or elemental stones to permanently endow the weapon with an element. It is noteable that Ranked Blacksmith crafted weapons are the amongst the strongest elemental weapons available.

Like Merchants, Blacksmiths utilize zeny effectively, but now with a focus on 1H & 2H Axes and Maces, inflict significantly more damage with their normal attacks. Upon reaching base level 99, Blacksmiths may transcend with the path to a Mastersmith.
