Coins are a Gunslinger exclusive resource and function identically to Spirit Spheres in that they grant Sphere ATK and are consumed as skill catalysts. If a Gunslinger were to gain a Spirit Sphere, they gain a Coin instead. Similarly, Coins may be to satisfy the catalyst for skills that consume Spirit Spheres.
Unlike Spirit Spheres, Gunslingers may maintain up to 10 Coins regardless of skill level. Instead, the chance of gaining a Coin is not guaranteed, and the success chance scales with skill level. In the event of failure, the user loses a Coin. This results in an exponential improvement with skill level when attempting to maintain large quantities of Coins.
This behavior was modeled for ten million iterations at each skill level, with the results presented in the following tables. The population mean may be used to estimate the average number of casts required to achieve a given number of Coins. Similarly, the standard deviation may be used to estimate the expected variance for the aforementioned estimate.
