Blaze Shield consists of 24 (5x5 square - center) cells that function independently. When an enemy occupies a Blaze Shield cell, one Blaze Shield damage wave is consumed (inflict damage and decrement the wave counter). When the damage wave counter is exhausted, the Blaze Shield cell despawns.
