Sniper [HUNTER_H 4012]

Snipers specialize in sustained ranged physical damage. Relative to Hunters, Snipers inflict at least 20% more damage with their attacks. However, the high SP costs of their steroid skills constrains their ability to use offensive skills without the support of a Dancer, Scholar, or SP recovery items.

Snipers have the exclusive ability to inflict critical damage in an area of effect, which can quickly eliminate groups of enemies. Additionally, Falcon Assault provides a burst damage option that may be used to attack enemies with sufficiently high DEF or FLEE that invalidates their physical attacks. However, as Snipers readily achieve 300+ HIT and 50+ CRIT (Sharp Arrow, FE, FAS) with little investment, it has limited applicability e.g. monsters with AGI UP.
