Double Attack (DA) has skill like properties, i.e. is modified by skill accuracy and cannot critical hit, but is not a skill i.e. can occur in Classical Pluck and trigger Kaahi. Double Attack has a higher priority, and takes precedence over, critical hits and other autospell effects.
When enabled through the skill tree, DA is applied only to weapon types defined within the skill description. However, when enabled through an item, DA is applied to all weapon types. When DA is enabled with the same skill using the skill tree and an item simultaneously, DA is applied at the highest known level to all weapon types.
Katar damage is split into two parts: primary damage and offhand damage. Primary damage is identical to any other weapon, whereas offhand damage is a feature unique to Katars. Katar offhand damage is proportional to primary damage and scales with Double Attack.
